Leaf Structure is a bright white steel canopy floating over a pedestrian ramp at the entrance to the Arboretum. Its complex organic geometric forms, open to the sky, resemble the patterning found in tree canopies, and casts a dappled design onto the concrete below. Upon closer study the canopy is revealed to model the cellular structure, visible on a microscopic level, of a leaf.
